If you have ever seen Forge of Empires in a banner or other ad space, the kraken fully endorses it and encourages you to come play. The engine is similar to Empires and Allies on facebook where you build a city and an empire. What I like is that you start in the stone age and use "forge points" to research technologies and advance throughout human history. Funny thing is, while they advertise this game all over the place, there are no ads running while you play. The only way it seems that they make money is if you buy "diamonds" the special game currency that lets you build more powerful buildings and all sorts of other power-ups. But you can also fill out surveys and other things to get free ones, so everybody wins.
